Computers that took up a room and required an engineer to operate are a thing of the past. The ease of working with modern computers has led to a culture of children who are computer savvy. These kids are influenced by not only the fun and ease of using a computer – they are also influenced by the current trends in popular music and love to use programs like ares p2p to share music files with friends.

Musicians of just about every music genre, even hip hop and rap, are using electronic manipulation like Auto Tune to create a new sound. Children can now use their computers to create their own music inspired by the sound of songs like T-Pain’s Apple Bottom Jeans. Those into the Asian music scene are hearing more and more Auto Tune influence over the music as well, spreading the phenomenon all over the world.

Whether the easy use of computers to manipulate music is a good thing for the music industry or a bad one is debated by many music fans. While there may be a consensus in the future about whether electronic music manipulation ruined the sound of the voice or created an innovative new concept in music, for today the sound is here to stay.

The influence of digital media over the music industry will likely continue to change as new software is developed to create new and more innovative audio effects. The digital nature of new music creation may give way to the next big format that makes music even easier to change and improve according to the latest musical tastes and then share instantly with programs like aresgalaxy. When that happens, kids may be just as close to the forefront of new musical creations. The kids of today who use computers so easily will likely have kids of their own that are even more computer savvy, creating the next generation of innovative musical creators.

DAB And The Auditory Learner

As the future of broadcast communication evolves with technology so does the future of education. In a world where education is taking on new definition’s and forcing itself to adapt to an ever changing global market Digital Audio Broadcasting may provide an avenue for children and adults who do not learn visually to close the gap and catch up to their visual counterparts.

Education, kindergarten to 12 grade is highly visual. Be that science class to physical education the understanding is that each person “sees” and adapts to their environment. However, like many misconceptions which dominate the landscape of human life, visual learning is not how every one learns best.

Scientist’s have identified to types of learners:

1. Visual Learner- These learners require to “see” things in order to learn them. They benefit most from written instructions, charts, and diagrams.

2. Auditory Learner- These learners require the use of vocal inflections, stressed syllables, and spoken directions in order to absorb information the best.

The second type of learner is where Digital Audio Broadcasts become so important. In order to create an educational show that children could tune into and listen to every week would be quite impossible due to time constraints, and the cost of negating one frequency specifically for one class of not very many children.

With Digital Audio Broadcasting technology a teacher would be able to very easily and very inexpensively broadcast a lecture or a class every day at anytime for virtually no cost to the auditory learner. Instead of being required to show up at a certain time the lecture or lesson could be streamed immediately or streamed at anytime after 24 hours a day.

With the progression of education as it is and the need to accommodate multitudes of people on varying levels it is easy to see how providing an educational outlet via DAB is the next step in information and education broadcasting.

Today, over 1,000 Digital Audio Broadcasting stations around the world are broadcasting streaming entertainment 24 hours a day seven days a week to billions of citizens. This can be seen as just another step in making information free and accessible to everyone, however, for a select group of people it represents the possibility of chaos.

Much like the FCC and the FDA which help to regulate and promote the overall the goals of their specific markets; Digital Audio Broadcasting requires such an oversight organization to help realize the overall potential of DAB capabilities. Together with the help of several country DMB or Digital Multimedia Broadcasting non-profits, the WorldDMB is striving to create a flawless program that can rival the affordability and accessibility of the radio.

Here are a few things that the World DMB and country DMB organizations are doing to promote the overall success of a multitude of Digital Audio Broadcasting platforms:

Three Ways That The World DMB Is Promoting The Success Of DAB

1. Monitor Electronic Communications policies- to ensure that all users and providers within the DAB community are receiving the highest and most legal quality of service the WorldDMB works with sister organizations to ensure all EC policies are met and that all providers work within the required framework of DMB policies.

2. Marketing DAB systems- promoting the software and idea of streaming digital multimedia through projects which exemplify the overall goal of the DAB, DAB+ systems.

3. Liaison between Markets- working as middle man between providers and systems to ensure that all standards are met and providers are complying with goals of WorldDMB.

Through the WorldDMB and country organizations alike individuals are working to promote the overall continuity and goals of the Digital Audio Broadcasting groups through communication, and strict adherence to the frame works that comprise the different DAB systems.

Advantages and Disadvantages Of Portable Digital Audio Speakers

With all the updates and upgrades in data broadcasting technology it’s important to keep up to date with what works and what doesn’t. It started with the introduction of DAB, digital audio broadcasting and now everything that sends a radio signal is being fitted for digital capabilities.

Everything from the TV to the cell phone is evolving into the future of data transmitting and that means that systems and hardware are becoming obsolete just as fast as they are being produced. One of the most recent developments in digital transmitting is the invention of digital speaker equipment and more specifically, portable speaker equipment. Considering the young state of digital transmitting hardware it’s important to know the advantages and disadvantages of using portable digital audio equipment.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Portable Digital Audio Speakers

Advantages:

1. Sound Quality- Because digital audio equipment does not require such large frequencies the sound quality is greater and the interference that is heard in many FM/AM receivers is not heard in digital audio equipment.

2. Adaptability- Portable digital audio equipment can be plugged in using a USB chord making it lightweight and cutting out the need for bulky power adapters because the equipment can charge off the computer capabilities. This also makes digital audio equipment sleeker and more appealing to the eye.

Disadvantages:

1. Price- Because the technology is young and expensive the costs of digital equipment is higher. Like any new technology until it is adopted into the “norm” equipment will remain expensive.

2. Compatibility- Digital Equipment runs on different systems that traditional equipment. While certain digital equipment may work in some instances, in others it will be incompatible with other technology. For example even DAB and DAB+ equipment is not compatible.

The choices and options when deciding on audio equipment are so vast today that being informed as to what your buying and what your getting becomes very important.

Introduction To Digital Radio And A Look At Its Benefits

What is the difference between a computer word processing software file and a portable document format file? The latter has the text embedded and is perfect for transporting the text without loss of formatting. This makes it a great tool for printing as well. However, the word processing file is a much better option when it comes to editing a document. These are two types of storing the text and both methods have advantages and disadvantages.

If you do not have the right font, you will not be in a position to read the text. This problem does not arise with a portable document format file. The differences between these two files pretty much sum up the differences between analog sound and digital sound. Analog sound consists of recording of the exhalation of breath inside the microphone which is then converted into and recorded as sound.

On the other hand, digital sound is nothing but analog sound which has been converted into a digital format-that is in a machine language which any and every device can understand. Once the digitisation of sound is complete, any and every machine can read the format.

There will be virtually no loss of quality and the content can be transmitted over long distances without any problems whatsoever. This is the reason why digital audio broadcasting is considered to be the next big thing in the world of radio. Today, the radio waves are transmitted and are subject to electrical interference and noise.

However, only the machine can understand the digital audio. Hence, the digital audio waves that the transmitted can be read only by the machine and will be converted back into audio without any loss of quality.

Although the concept is very sound in terms of technology, there are numerous marketing difficulties that is providing digital audio broadcasting from replacing traditional radio.

A New Set After Every Improvements Is Hurting Digital Audio Broadcasting

The digital audio broadcast industry is a victim of its own success today. Sound quality is so high that each and every improvement in technology requires purchase of a completely new set to access the service. This is like asking the user of a computer to buy a brand new keyboard due to an improvements in the operating system.

No matter how good the changes are, the individual is always going to reject the idea of getting and operating a new system. What makes matters worse is that the user is required to access both radios in order to listen to the original and the advanced version of digital audio broadcasting.

An average individual cares about three to four devices which can be used to listen to music. The addition of digital radio combined with the improved version is going to make the number unmanageable.

The ideal scenario is to come up with innovations that can be incorporated into the same device. However, the original audio broadcasting device is not advanced enough to work with the improved version.

In such a scenario, industry analysts suggest that the industry should reach a level where each and every improvement will not require a complete overhaul of the equipment and mindset. Perhaps then the industry would find it easy to capture and maintain volumes.

Well, analog radio service providers and internet radio service providers are not going to sit idle. The digital media market is booming and service providers have to capture the market as early as possible. The first mover advantage is very important.

Capturing the market will lead to advertising income. High income will facilitate better services. That is the reason why new shows are being announced practically every day to facilitate better consumer satisfaction for those who are using digital radios.

Left Behind Games Invest in the Power of Radio Advertising

Radio advertising has remained a strong industry, even despite the decline of radio popularity for some stations. However, most campaigns on the radio are isolated to local areas, short runs, or are otherwise minimized in some way or another. Not so for the “Left Behind Games” campaign — which has recently invested in nearly seventeen million radio impressions.

Left Behind Games is a video game studio that produces games for a Christian audience. Their first two games, titled with the company name, saw only moderate success. Subsequent games, including Praise Champion and King Solomon’s Trivia, continued to win over Christian reviewers, but didn’t do much to substantially bolster the company’s financial standing. In public trading, the company is still traded as a penny stock. However, that may change with the new campaign.

The company is releasing two games for the Christmas season: Charlie Church Mouse and Left Behind 3: Rise of the Anti-Christ. To accompany this release, the company is having advertisements play on a huge number of radio channels from December 22nd to the 26th of 2010.

While its public trading value may be nothing to get excited about, the company does hold a unique monopoly: they’re the only publicly traded company that works exclusively with Christian video game publications. While certainly a niche market in today’s media world, the company nonetheless holds its territory.

Parents and Christian reviewers, as mentioned above, are typically pleased with the games, leading to a viable base of sales. However, with children so focused on obsessive social media monitoring and more mainstream games, the games have yet to spread beyond their narrow corner of the gaming world.

The question for investors and onlookers is now whether seventeen million radio impressions can change this over the holiday season, pushing the company from essential obscurity into substantial success.
